Portrait: Study of human skull and antique sculptures in monochrome.
Drawing: Full figure drawing, still life, and skeletal studies.
Indian Painting: Traditional styles โ Ajanta, Bagh, Rajasthani, Mughal, Pahari, etc.
Theory:
History of Art (Paper I): Kushan to Early Medieval Indian art; Christian, Byzantine, Romanesque & Gothic Western art.
Material & Method I (Paper II): Tools, painting techniques, printing methods, colour theory, oil painting materials, and support systems.
IIIrd Year โ Realism & Experimentation
Practical Subjects:
Composition: Realistic and detailed compositions with contemporary concepts.
Portrait: Advanced portraiture with drapery and depth.
Drawing: Drapery, human form, and object studies.Landscape: Outdoor studies of historical architecture and surroundings.
Theory:
History of Art (Paper I): Medieval to Modern Indian art, Renaissance in India, Western Renaissance to Rococo art.
Material & Method II (Paper II): Canvas prep, oil/tempera painting, Indian miniature techniques, fresco, and gouache.
IVth Year โ Specialization & Research
Practical Subjects:
Creative Composition: Semi-realistic artworks with expressive textures and patterns.
Life Study & Drawing: Advanced human form studies.
Landscape: Historical and environmental visualization.
Project Report: Research-based report (Min. 50 pages) with viva.
